I'm a straightedge atheist, I hold my personal beliefs and ethics as the utmost importance to my life. I think life should be lived to the fullest extent without crutches or vices. OK so revised, up to date about me on an empty stomach. I now take one class a week which is Art based and structured and work full time at the worlds biggest retailer, Wal-Mart. I work nights which frees up my day life but that's if sleep permits it. Art is my passion and life long inspiration and I would say philosophy is a close relative to that.

My hobbies and side projects deal with reading books, painting, sketching, taking pictures of the natural side of life, discussing hypothetical questions and figuring people out.

I do not drink to get drunk, no, I drink for enjoyment. For example I order foreign based, ales, stouts, ciders and more and usually hit the local microbrewery maybe once a month. This consists of joining a friend or two for a couple hours while enjoying the atmosphere. Two drinks is my limit followed by a Bloody Mary with a Chaser. I always end up driving so that's another reason.

I try and hit up an event once a month regardless of what it is. As far as movies, as long as I have somebody to go with, I'll go and I am pretty open to what the movie is.

As far as what kind of person I am. I would say quiet at first but that's not a shy issue I am the type to feel the other person out so I don't hit a hick-up "set a bad vibe." I am open minded with strong moral/ethical beliefs but not religious. I do not attend church nor do I hold my beliefs with a god. I do like camping but have not had the time lately to go out. I have been told on many occasions that I am a one in a million kind of guy who make any lady very happy but don't see it that way. I see it as I am an 1 in 1 kind of guy that would make that one gal quite happy. Oh and I am pretty devoted on bettering life; I would consider myself a Realistic Humanistic Surrealist. I am also a very fit, healthy, and level minded individual.

Ok, here is the personal boot. I dont know what to say here so I'll just say it like it is. Christmas has come and gone once again. I now enter another new year alone. No, it wasn't always that way, up untill about 4 years ago I had a wife and familly at least until some homewrecker came along. There's more to it but I won't go there. Short story is I was left for some looser who I'm quite sure presented himself as the "knight in shinning armor". After all I guess I was just a terrible husband, provided a home, put food on the table and made sure that my wife always had a running car outside. Her "knight in shinning armor", lost 2 homes so far, left her several times without a car to drive and now is out of state leaving her to face an eviction from there rented property on her own and care for 3 children.

Yea, I know this is a strange way to describe myself but the fact is I sit here now and just ask "why"? Whay am I such a terrible person that I would be left for someone like that, why do I have to be alone. I'm not going to beat around the bush about it, Im pretty depressed and alone. Right now I'm on 2 different medications for the depresion, unfortunetly I don't feel its helping me much.

I would say that I am a motivated person who loves helping others. I don't like to be selfish but love to give my time to others. I love going out, seeing new things and meet new people. Hey, My names David. I'm a pretty easy going guy I get along with pretty much everyone. I love art and music. One of my passions would have to be photography I love taking pictures! I play guitar but I always run into the problem of having no rythm...which APPARENTLY is important! I love going out with friends. I'm from a small town, but absolutley love the big city life and try to escape to Chicago as much as possible, even if its just to wander the streets. It is nice being able to see the stars though which is the one thing that sucks about cities. I love being outside and going to the beach. What can I say about myself? I guess I should say right up front that I'm a music junkie. As for other hobbies, I do play some video games still, though college (or the full time job during the summer) doesn't really allow that as much anymore. Speaking of college, I go to Concordia University Wisconsin (in Mequon) and Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design for Graphic Design. I spend most of my time with those two hobbies listed above, though sometimes I like to branch out. By that I mean that I've written two novels over the years. Sometime this summer I might start another one, depending on how motivated I am. When I say "motivated," I really mean bored. And, just recently I bought a digital SLR camera to further pursue my photography hobby. I've been doing that quite extensively the past few weeks (take a gander at my deviantart, the link is below).

Other than the technical things, I guess I'm just a normal, fun guy with a sarcastic sense of humor. I'm pretty easy to please and I go out of my way to make others happy.

I believe after many years of searching, I've finally found myself. I'm confident and happy with where I am, and so I'm searching for someone else to help complete me. I'm just searching for that special someone who will provide me with moments. You know, they're those special seconds that actually mean nothing in the long run, but, nevertheless, they get lodged in your brain and make you happy just thinking about 'em. Yeah, I want some of those. That, and someone to kiss on the forehead randomly. Also, she has to be able to stand me dancing around and lip syncing The Beatles. I think that's about it.

Aaaaand: Because it's probably an important topic for some, and because I really don't know what to put over there, I am sort of a religious person. By that I mean that I have my beliefs, but they don't really fall into a normal church. I was raised as a catholic, but I'm not really into everything they teach. I'm a christian universalist (everyone will get to heaven at some point), and I believe a lot of the bible was metaphorical, and can't be taken literally at all. I also have some other more specific beliefs that would take far too long to go into. To me, it doesn't really matter what religion someone is, though, as I believe in giving respect to all beliefs. That, and with all the crap humanity has done, we should really celebrate even the mere chance of being saved, no matter who or what does it. Again, I don't personally care what religion you are as long as you don't push me into yours. I've dated hardcore athiests, and hardcore dogmatic christians, so I know both sides.

I am a woman with a million hobbies. I love motorcycles, downhill skiing, bicycle riding and pretty much anything that gets me out of the house. I live in a 3 walled cube during the day staring at computer screen so spending my free time watching TV does not happen very often unless a really good sci-fi comes on. (I am one of the last human beings that does not have cable TV). I still have hopes of having a family. I'm 59, married, my wife and I stay/live together as a matter of convenience and economics. There is not much of a bond between us anymore except that we do seem to get along for the most part. My wife has some serious health issues. My VA health benefits include her medical care. A divorce would end all that and I'm really not the kind of person to just abandon her, so I feel sort of stuck in this situation. She doesn't love me and I do not love her anymore. What is a guy to do? I feel a need for someone I can be affectionate with, but it's difficult to find someone that doesn't beg off automatically just because of the marriage. Before I get too personal and disclose more details about me to you than even my mother knows, let me tell you what I'm looking for. That way, you can either opt to run screaming, or you can continue on (at your own peril, of course).

I've been in a few long term relationships, and I've found there are a few things I can't compromise on. Country music and rap for example. Honestly, I'd rather stick my head into a blender than be subjected to either genre. (Of course, I make exception for Johnny Cash) Other things which are important--you must like children. I have one which I like a great deal, and I'm not willing to sell him out for even a million dollars. So, like children, dammit! Also, I find dating some Christians to be problematic...especially ones with close family who are very very Christian. Funny story....last girlfriend's mother declared quite loudly at dinner "Brian is going to hell for his beliefs." Of course, that's a step down from the time I was actually declared to be the devil himself, but I digress. I'm a Neopagan, which very basically means I believe in more than one God. Oops....here I go giving information about me. More about you -- please be of above average intelligence (meaning in or through college, grad school, and/or having an IQ greater than 140), please be very Liberal, do not own pets with hair, unless you keep them really clean (as I'm extremely allergic, and will probably be allergic to you as well), and please describe yourself with at least a few of these words: polyamorous, nerd, geek, goth, hippie, activist, or vegetarian. Having AT&T cell service is a definite plus.

Now that I've managed to scare away most people (and probably most zombies), let me tell you a bit about me. I'm a 28 year old Sagittarius coffeehouse nerd from Milwaukee. However, currently I am living in West Bend, as I was offered a job managing an apartment. I am in Milwaukee regularly for class, and for various meetings.

I'm also an activist with a local peace group, I'm the Local Coordinator for the 2008 Pagan Pride Day, and I'm a dyed in the wool Socialist.

I have a four year old son who is with me quite often. His name is Jaden, and he enjoys drinking coffee -- seriously. Whenever I drink coffee, I have to hide it or he'll want it. He's also unusually smart to the point that I'm sure he'll have found a way to take over the world by the time he's 14. Already, he can type and print documents in MS Word. Brilliant. I love him.

After reviewing many profiles, I realized I enjoyed reading those with longer stories. This is my longer story......

I grew up in northern Wisconsin. I never had chance to go to college after
high school. I started going years ago searching for a passion in the classes I was taking. I have taken knowledge based tests, interest tests and personality tests. I am smart enough to do just about anything but tend to lean toward the sciences. I took the Myers Briggs personality assesment and I am ESTJ. (Check it out on Wikipedia and personalitypage.com under portraits). It is quite accurate. I love working in the science lab or with anything that is hands on.

I had a career working as a parts person and manager in automotive dealerships for over 10 years. That job hasn't had a decent pay increase and continually decreasing benefits for years.I have recently spent some time going to school but have now decided to return to work. I am going into a similar field as before but hope it will have the variety and stability that I long for in a job.

I am very open in social settings. I enjoy large groups but also enjoy the intimacy of smaller groups. I am terrible at video games and don't wish to get any better. I joined a bowling league to try something new. I had to succumb to my wild side and buy a bowling ball with pink flames and a matching bag; Sexy!! I have always enjoyed motorcycles and started on minibikes at age 7. I enjoy Trivial Pursuit but find there are not enough science type questions for me to win. My knowledge of the sports and entertainment industries are pretty poor although I do appreciate their place in society.
